Our Story

LemonChord launched in January 2007, offering web hosting to small businesses all around the world. Boasting enough gigabytes to blow your socks off along with fancy features such as FTP, HTTP, SSL, WTF (you get the idea). We quickly learnt that small businesses just wanted a service that worked, and one that didn't require a Degree in The Study of Acronyms or extensive knowledge of web hosting. Which then became the basis of our ethos of simplicity and friendliness. Being a small UK business ourself, we understand them better, so we made the decision to focus soley on the UK market and tailored of service accordingly.

Uptime

As your website will be available 24/7, we need a measure of our service's (or your website's) availability. And all our hosting packages come with a 99.5% uptime guarantee. Meaning if your website is down and not accessible for more than 21 minutes in a month, we will compensate you that month's fees plus we'll give you the next month's hosting for free. Since April 07, our uptime has been monitored by WebHostingStuff and we are proud of our over 99% uptime levels, we strive to maintain this record as we are aware of the importance of a reliable host.
